UPDATE: Police identify man found shot at Clayton County apartment complex
Clayton County police have identified the man found dead behind an apartment building late Monday.
Daveat Morgan, 22, was fatally shot at the Southwood Apartments of Trammell Road in Morrow, Clayton County police spokeswoman Sgt. Ashanti Marbury told AJC.com. Morgan did not have any identification on him when he was found, Marbury said.
The police department received a call about 11 p.m. from a resident who reported hearing gunfire.
“At this time there are no suspects or witnesses in this case,” Marbury said.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact detectives at 770-477-3648.
