A Dacula man has died of injuries he suffered several weeks ago when a ladder fell off another vehicle and into the northbound lanes of I-85 in Gwinnett County, authorities said Friday.

Now, police hope to identify the ladder’s owner and charge them in connection with the fatal chain-reaction crash.

The wreck occurred shortly after 3 p.m. March 25 near Beaver Ruin Road, AJC.com previously reported.
