A Hall County man allegedly backed a truck over a woman in a residential driveway, leaving her with fatal injuries, according to a media report.

Paul Bruce Osborne, 57, of Gainesville, has been charged with DUI and first-degree vehicular homicide, the Gainesville Times reported.

Rachel Hull, 53, of Gainesville, was the victim, according to the report.

Osborne told a Georgia State Patrol officer that he “backed some 40 feet in the driveway” Wednesday on Osborne Road, the paper reported.

When he got out of the truck, Osborne saw a woman “laying in the driveway unconscious,” the paper reported, citing the state patrol.
