A man was barricaded inside a Loganville home with a baby Friday night, according to Gwinnett County officials.

He is believed to be armed and making threats to harm himself or the child, Gwinnett County spokesman Cop. Collin Flynn said in a news release.

Police were originally called about 8 p.m. about a domestic incident, but arrived to find the man barricaded inside the home with the child, Flynn said.

The man is believed to be armed and making threats about harming the infant.

Flynn said the SWAT team has responded to the scene.
