Two adults got into an argument on the school grounds of DeKalb County’s Columbia Elementary School on Thursday morning. One allegedly pulled out a gun, which not only prompted a lockdown but also his arrest.

Decarlos Moses of Ellenwood faces a charge of carrying a weapon within a school zone for the incident, the DeKalb County School District said.

Moses and the other person were detained after the gun was pulled, and school police released the other person without charges, the district said. After Moses was arrested, the lockdown was lifted.

No one was hurt during the incident.

It’s unclear where on school property the argument took place and if they were parents.

No other details have been released.

Moses remains in the DeKalb jail without bond, records show.
