Cobb County police have arrested an alleged peeping Tom accused of using his cellphone to record customers inside a Cumberland Mall restroom.

Danell Turner, 39, was arrested Wednesday evening after officers allegedly caught the Atlanta man in the act, Channel 2 Action News reported.

According to Turner’s arrest warrant, he was “standing inside a bathroom stall while using his arm to raise his cellphone” above the partition. Police believe the man was using his phone to capture photos and videos of unsuspecting shoppers in adjacent stalls.

He was charged with one count each of peeping Tom and driving with a suspended or revoked registration, Cobb jail records show. He was released hours later after posting a $5,720 bond.
