An Augusta man has been arrested after his mother’s caretaker found feces in the woman’s mouth, according to a media report.

Quami Dewayne Kelly, 20, visited his mother, who has dementia, on Tuesday, The Augusta Chronicle reported. She was laying on a couch at home when Kelly leaned down, kissed her goodbye and put something in her mouth before he left, the caretaker told Richmond County sheriff’s deputies.

The caretaker said she thought it was chocolate until she smelled something foul.
