A man is accused of shoving several women in a parking lot before firing shots at a high-rise condominium as he ran away, Sandy Springs police said.

Lorenzo Bartley of Stone Mountain faces three charges, including aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property, jail records show.

He’s accused of assaulting women in a hotel parking lot near Park Towers at 795 Hammond Drive before firing two shots as he ran away Oct. 11, according to a 911 call obtained by Channel 2 Action News. It’s unknown what led to the alleged assault.

“Some guy is kicking some little girl’s (expletive),” the caller said. “This guy is beating the (expletive) out of all these women.”

Those two bullets ended up in third-floor condos, Channel 2 reported. One hit a window and the other hit an air conditioning unit while the resident was asleep.

“Around midnight, I was sleeping in my bed, and all of a sudden I hear this ‘Bang! Bang!’” Donna Berg told the news station.

She then heard a hissing noise and thought her water heater had exploded, but it turned out to be her AC unit decompressing, Channel 2 reported. She said she learned it was from a gunshot after receiving a letter from building management.

Bartley remains in the Fulton County Jail without bond, according to records.
