Police are looking for a man accused of shooting a woman after she turned down his advances.

Crystal Brown was approached by the man along the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when he pursued her romantically, according to a police report. The incident happened in March, but the alleged attacker hasn’t been caught.

According to police, the man approached Brown attempting to flirt with her inside a gas station, but he got upset and yelled expletives at her when she declined his advances. The man then followed Brown as she left the store.

The two got into an argument in the parking lot, according to the report. That’s when the man allegedly went to his car, grabbed a gun and fired a shot at Brown’s car. A bullet entered the driver’s side and hit Brown in the left leg near her knee, the report said.

The man drove off in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with the tag number BXY8772, according to a Crime Stoppers release.

A reward of $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477 or text 274637. Tips can also be made online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
