A Las Vegas woman suffered minor injuries when her car was shot several times on the Perimeter early Tuesday, Atlanta police said.

The woman, who is in town visiting a friend, told officers she was driving north on I-285 near Greenbriar Parkway just before 4 a.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up next to her and honked to get her attention, according to the police report.

As the woman looked over, she realized her car “was getting riddled with bullets.”

The woman ducked and pulled off the interstate into a Ruby Tuesday parking lot, she told police.

According to the report, glass from the woman’s shattered window cut her harm, but she was not shot. She was able to drive herself to Atlanta Medical Center, where she called police and reported the incident.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.
