3 killed in Gwinnett triple shooting identified
Police identified three family members killed Friday in a triple shooting in Norcross.
Authorities said Monday a man came home and found his 55-year-old wife Josephine Roby-Skinner, 26-year-old son Jermaine Roby and 10-year-old daughter Jasmyn Skinner dead with gunshot wounds.
Police responded to the father’s call about a person shot after 4 p.m. on the 700 Block of Pebble Creek Drive, Gwinnett police Cpl. Deon Washington said.
Detectives are investigating the possibility that the son was the shooter, Washington said.
“However, that information is still being vetted and the final manner and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner,” Washington said.
Detectives are working to determine what led to the incident and why it happened one week before Thanksgiving.
“By answering those difficult questions, our hope is that the impacted families will be able to grieve and begin healing,” Washington said.
Local clergy and a Critical Incident Stress Management team were contacted for relatives of the family.
