Dunwoody police said they located a missing 16-year-old girl who had been working as a prostitute and arrested three individuals on pimping charges during a sting operation at a local hotel.

The June 25 undercover operation, conducted in response to complaints and tips about prostitution in the city, also resulted in the arrest of nine individuals on prostitution charges and the rescue of a 26-year-old woman who had been placed into sexual servitude, Officer Tim Fecht said in a news release issued Wednesday.

Police worked the sting in conjunction with the FBI Metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force and the Gwinnett police department vice unit.
