DeKalb firefighters responded to a deadly shed explosion Monday night.

A 55-year-old man was killed after something caused a large shed-type building to combust near his mobile home off Norris Lake Road, DeKalb fire Capt. Dion Bentley told AJC.com.

The man, whose name has not been released, lived in the home and worked on vehicles as a hobby, Bentley said. He also described the building as a private auto shop for the man.
