SWAT officers swarm alleged South Fulton drug hub

SWAT was called in to execute a search warrant Friday morning at a South Fulton home believed to be a hub of illegal drug sales, police said.

Officers with the South Fulton and Fulton County Schools police SWAT units entered the home in the 2700 block of Ocean Valley Road around 6 a.m. According to South Fulton police spokesman Lt. Derrick Rogers, the home was identified as “a source of illegal narcotics.”

Cash, suspected marijuana, suspected MDMA and firearms were seized as a result, he said. Officers also carted out electronics, including a television.

Rogers said the home was unoccupied when officers made entry. Investigators have not made any arrests related to the case as of Friday morning.
