Possible domestic incident leaves 1 dead near Jonesboro, police say

A person was shot and killed Tuesday in Clayton County after a possible domestic dispute, police said.

The incident happened at a home off Jenni Circle near Jonesboro, Clayton County police told Channel 2 Action News. The victim died at the scene.

No other details have been released. An investigation is ongoing.
