Police are hoping witnesses will come forward after a 19-year-old man was found shot dead in the middle of a street near downtown Stone Mountain.
Officers were called to a residential area on Mackin Street on Dec. 30 to investigate reports of gunshots. They found the victim, identified as 19-year-old Ajan Manley Walker, with at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead by paramedics with DeKalb County fire.

“The Stone Mountain Police Department is asking for the public's help with anyone who witnessed or has information regarding the homicide of Ajan Manley Walker,” Detective T. Burton said Friday in a news release.
