Man shot multiple times inside DeKalb apartment

A man was rushed to a hospital after he was found shot multiple times inside a DeKalb County apartment Sunday night.

DeKalb police officers discovered the man “suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso” when they arrived at the Mint at Decatur Apartment Homes about 11:30 p.m., police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer said.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No further information about the shooting or the victim was released. It is unknown if he lived at the complex, which is in the 3800 block of Kensington Road and near the Indian Creek MARTA station.

“There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing,” Spencer told AJC.com.
