A man died in a double shooting in northwest Atlanta on Friday night, police said.

The shooting happened in the 2900 block of Middleton Road, Atlanta police said in a news release.

One man was shot in the neck, and a second man was shot in the leg, the release said. Both were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where the man who was shot in the neck later died. Their names have not been released.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. Police do not have a suspect in custody.

An investigation is ongoing.
