Man shot multiple times in SW Atlanta

A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times Friday in southwest Atlanta, police confirmed.

The man was shot around 12:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta police spokesman Jarius Daugherty said.

He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, Daugherty said.

An investigation is ongoing.
