The Franklin County Coroner’s Office released the identities of the seven people who were killed in a multivehicle wreck Saturday afternoon.

Chris Years, 33, Ashley Years, 34, and Luna Years, 3, all of Paulding County, died when the Ford Excursion in which they were traveling collided with a Chevrolet van.

Alejandro Agis Perez, 53, Noe Gutierrez Cerna, 39, Oswaldo Hi Navarette, 25, and Eugenio Santoyo Serna, 36, all of Hall County, were traveling in the van. They all were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said the Excursion was traveling north on I-85 near Exit 160 when it crossed the median into oncoming traffic about 1:45 p.m. It struck the van heading in the opposite direction, causing a chain-reaction crash in the interstate’s southbound lanes, the Georgia State Patrol said.

Three others who were in the SUV were taken to a hospital. Their identities were not released, and their status is unknown.

Three other vehicles were involved in the wreck, but no other injuries were reported, state troopers said.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help the Years family with funeral costs and other expenses. As of Monday afternoon, the page had raised more than $6,100.

Clarification: An earlier update with the victims' IDs misidentified the vehicles containing which passengers, contrary to the accompanying description of the chain-reaction crash.
