A teen house party in Smyrna turned chaotic Sunday morning after gunfire erupted, police said.

No one was shot, but there were superficial injuries in the “chaos that ensued,” Smyrna police Sgt. Louis Defense said.  Officers were called to the residence in the 2200 block of Lake Park Drive to investigate the gunshots just before 12:30 a.m.

“There are no other details available for release; however, detectives are still actively investigating the incident,” Defense said in a statement.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Smyrna Police Department at 770-434-6666 or smyrnacrimetips@smyrna.gov.
