A judge dismissed the case against a man charged with murder in the shooting death of an Atlanta man.

James Reid was arrested and charged July 14, but a judge said during a probable cause hearing on Tuesday there isn't enough evidence to move the case forward, according to Channel 2 Action News.

In October of 2014, Tamilla Corn lost her husband of 16 years. Kenneth Corn was “murdered,” she said, as he sat in a parked car in front of his grandmother’s home on Barrow Place in southwest Atlanta.

Police said a gunman walked up and demanded money. When Corn try to drive away, he was shot.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s office insists the case is not closed.

Prosecutors told Channel 2 Atlanta police got it right and they will take the evidence to a grand jury.

Tamilla Corn told Channel 2 she won’t give up.

“I’m still not gonna stop,” Corn said. “I’m gonna do what I have to do to provide and take care of my kids, but I’m not gonna stop looking for justice for them too. We all need peace. I need peace. I can’t close this book. This chapter in my life. It’s something I can’t just walk away from.”
