Their identities are a mystery. All that is left of their existence may be some clothing, an item of jewelry perhaps, dental records, their bones -- the literal remains of lives that somehow met an end in a way that left them anonymous. Or in one case, a living man who cannot recall his past. But these people do have names and histories. Someone knew them once and may still be searching for them. These are the faces populating the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Unidentified Remains files. For more information on contacting the local agencies involved in these ongoing investigations, visit the GBI's Unsolved Cases website.
