Rockdale County deputies are searching for suspects in a shooting that left three people injured Sunday morning during a Fourth of July party.

Deputies responded to a building in the 2400 block of Kinmor Industrial Parkway in Conyers about 3:30 a.m. after gunfire erupted during a joint-Independence Day celebration and birthday party, authorities said.

“At least three individuals are currently known to have been struck by gunfire, and multiple shooters are suspected,” sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy Lee Thomas said Tuesday.

It’s unclear what led to the triple shooting, however. Authorities said witnesses at the scene were not cooperative with investigators.

“We’re trying to reach out to anyone who was at the party because the victims weren’t really cooperating either,” Thomas said.
