A Hall County man is accused of forcing a child to perform sex acts on him before locking her in a room in his home, according to police.

Joshua Todd Allen, 34, was being held without bond Monday following his arrest on child molestation and aggravated assault charges, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said. Allen allegedly assaulted the girl at his Flowery Branch home.

On the evening of Feb. 8, the child and an adult family member met with investigators after leaving Allen’s home, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Derreck Booth.

Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Allen on Feb. 10 and he surrendered Wednesday.

Allen is also charged with aggravated sodomy, first-degree cruelty to children and false imprisonment.
