Gwinnett County police have arrested a nightclub manager accused of organizing a Valentine’s Day “Kama Sutra contest” that led to patrons having sex inside a Norcross bar.

Videos circulating online appear to show several people engaged in sexual acts on a bed that was set up Friday inside the Chiquititas Lounge on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

According to a Gwinnett police report, the nightclub’s manager, Lizzette Loechle, 32, admitted organizing the event and arranging for the bed to be brought onto the dance floor.

She was arrested Wednesday at her Lawrenceville home and charged with violating two Gwinnett ordinances: providing live entertainment that features nude dancing and allowing a contest that encouraged guests to engage in sexual acts.

The general manager of Chiquititas told officers that Loechle worked at the lounge for more than a year and had “full control of the establishment” on Valentine’s Day, according to the incident report.

He also said she organized the “Kama Sutra contest,” which included a $500 reward for the winner.

The nightclub offered a cash prize of $500, according to a flyer posted on the club’s Facebook page.

A flyer promoting the event was posted on the club’s Facebook page with the words “Evening of Love” written in Spanish.

“The business brought in women,” Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Collin Flynn told Channel 2 Action News. “At some point during the night, they did bring this bed in and patrons of the business were the ones that actually took their clothes off and simulated sex acts with these females.”

Loechle told police the contest kicked off shortly before 2 a.m., about an hour before closing time. The $500 reward was to be given to “the couple who demonstrated the best sex act,” according to the report.

Several of the contestants kept their clothes on during the competition, while others got naked for the event, Loechle told investigators. Bar patrons appeared to encourage the men and women as they undressed in the middle of the nightclub and performed sex acts on the bed, police said. Several guests recorded the incident on their cellphones before uploading the videos to social media.

Gwinnett police launched an investigation earlier this week after a tipster alerted them to the competition, department spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera said.

In a statement posted online Monday, the nightclub’s owner said the manager was fired, and that the business is “fully prepared to reprimand any additional employees in connection with this unfortunate incident.”

The statement goes on to say the lounge is “working on new policies and procedures” to prevent anything similar from happening in the future.

Loechle was released Wednesday after posting an $810 bond, online jail records show.
