An Athens woman allegedly abused her 8-year-old daughter and allegedly used the child as a means to meet men online, according to a media report.

Destiny Delana Rosenberger, 32, also took the girl with her when she met dates, The Athens Banner-Herald reported.

The suspect also allegedly grabbed her daughter by the neck and head while in the shower to force water into the girl’s nose and mouth, Athens-Clarke County police told the paper.

Rosenberger has been arrested and faces charges of first-degree child cruelty, child molestation, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual battery and sexual exploitation of a minor, the paper reported.
