A Georgia man was jailed after police in Florida said he shot into a taxi cab full of people.

Dontavious Johnson allegedly fired into the cab Saturday night on Miami Beach, WSVN-TV reported.

Police charged Johnson with assault with a deadly weapon, shooting a deadly missile, criminal mischief and resisting an officer.

One passenger was believed to be injured after Johnson allegedly fired several shots because investigators found blood, but the victim was not immediately identified by police.

The shooting took place in the middle of Urban Beach Week, which draws tourists from across the country to Miami Beach, the news station reported.
