A Valdosta man accused of yelling at and pulling a gun on a teenage driver sat in a Lowndes County Jail on Tuesday, according to the Valdosta Daily Times.
Joshua Darling, 46, was charged with aggravated assault on Monday after threatening a 17-year-old in traffic.
Darling pulled his black PT Cruiser in front of the teen’s car, causing her to brake hard to avoid a crash. While she was still seated in her car, Darling got out of his car and pointed a gun at the girl while making threats, the newspaper reported.
The girl called police shortly after 6 p.m. and police later found Darling driving in the area. When they pulled him over they found two BB guns in the car.
The police arrested Darling, who appeared in court Monday, the newspaper reported. He is also a registered sex offender.
He was still in jail Tuesday evening.
