A military jury on Monday found a Georgia airman guilty of premeditated murder in the death of his pregnant fiancée.

Charles Amos Wilson III, 30, a support member of the 461st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Robins Air Force Base, killed Tameda Ferguson for $1 million in insurance money, according to the Macon Telegraph.

Ferguson, 30, was nearly nine months pregnant when Wilson killed her Aug. 29, 2013, at her home in Dawson, the newspaper reported.

Jurors also found Wilson guilty in the death of Ferguson’s unborn child.

Wilson could get life with the possibility of parole, life without parole or death. The sentencing phase is expected to start Tuesday.

According to the Telegraph, the last death sentence carried out by the Air Force was in 1954. Former Senior Airman Andrew Witt is the only Air Force serviceman currently on death row, the newspaper reported.

Robins Air Force Base is in Houston County and about 100 miles south of downtown Atlanta.
