GBI investigating deputy-involved shooting in Clayton County

June 26, 2015The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in after a deputy-involved shooting in Clayton County on Thursday night.
The incident happened in the 6300 block of Old Dixie Highway, Channel 2 Action News said.
According to an alert from the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened during a vehicle pursuit. There was no immediate word on injuries.
The investigation was turned over to the GBI, which is the policy of the sheriff’s office.
