One of the Gangster Disciples’ enforcers was found guilty of murdering a DeKalb County man in front of his wife in 2017, earning him a life sentence behind bars.

Kaylon Janard Jiles, 26, was convicted Thursday of felony murder, aggravated assault and a firearm possession charge in the death of 30-year-old Eric Fisher, the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release. The shooting was over a drug dispute.

On Nov. 5, 2017, Jiles sold Fisher some cocaine, but the buyer later felt that Jiles ripped him off, the release said. Jiles told Fisher that he would “make it right,” but he instead showed up to the Model 6 off Chamblee Tucker Road, where Fisher lived, with two armed accomplices.

All three men shot Fisher multiple times before they fled the scene in a Dodge Charger, the release said. Fisher was found dead at the scene, AJC.com previously reported. His wife and a friend witnessed the attack.

Police identified Jiles and Traquan McLeod as two of the shooters, but the third man still has not been identified. Both suspects were arrested in February 2018.
