A Gainesville man was arrested Friday on allegations that he sexually molested a teenage boy last year, officials said.

Lawrence Ryan Chisolm, 38, molested the 14-year-old in mid-October at a home in the 1900 block of Driskell Drive, the Hall County Sheriffs Office said in a statement Monday.

He was “acquainted” with the victim, the statement said.

The teen’s family members reported the alleged molestation, and a warrant was obtained for Chisolm’s arrest on Thursday.

He remains in the Hall County Jail on a charge of aggravated child molestation.
