Fugitive caught after a year on the run; wanted on theft, hit and run charges

A man who was wanted on theft, obstruction and other charges was arrested Thursday in Gwinnett County, police say.

Anthony Hines faces theft, reckless driving, hit and run, false name and obstruction charges, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.
There is also a felony violation of probation charge listed.
He’s being held in the Gwinnett jail on hold for Cobb County.
Deputies said on Twitter that Hines had been on the run for a year.
