A man and woman who police say robbed a Walmart store in Forsyth County may also be responsible for similar incidents in stores of the chain in Georgia.

On Wednesday, an armed man demanded cash from employees collecting money from registers in the Peachtree Parkway store around 11 p.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s office said in a news release Friday. The man shot at the floor during the robbery and left with an undisclosed amount.

He wore a blue and white surgical mask and carried a black semi-automatic handgun, the release said. His image and that of a woman believed to be a lookout in the store were caught by surveillance cameras.

Both suspects were seen getting into black cars once they left the store.

The Forsyth Sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information contact Detective Tyler Sexton at 770-781-2200.
