A Forsyth County woman was arrested Friday after allegedly killing a woman who was in her care, authorities said.

Jessica Diane Eubanks, 34, faces charges of murder, possession of meth with intent to distribute and family violence, sheriff’s office Cpl. Doug Rainwater confirmed.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on June 23 in Cumming, he said. A woman in her care died, and Eubanks has been under investigation by the sheriff’s office since.

The victim’s body has been at the GBI Crime Lab for the past few months, and evidence discovered there led to Eubanks’ arrest, authorities said. No other information was released on the investigation, which is ongoing.

Eubanks remains at the Forsyth County jail without bond, records show.
