Former DeKalb day care owner allegedly stole items after 4 locations closed
The former owner of a DeKalb County day care that abruptly closed last week has been charged with theft, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Glenda Walker formerly owned Bridge Pointe Christian Daycare Academy, which has four locations in DeKalb. Last Monday, the locations closed due to money and legal disputes with the owner of the day care’s buildings, the news station reported.
Now, Walker has been accused of stealing items, including appliances, food, desks and chairs from two of the day care locations, Channel 2 reported.
She was arrested Sunday by the Clarkston Police Department and has been released on bond, according to DeKalb jail records.
