After a 20-minute chase, deputies in Clayton County were able to arrest a Forest Park man wanted after a domestic violence incident.

Jermaine Stiggers, 28, was arrested Monday after spotting deputies at a home off Joy Lake Road in Lake City and running away, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. He was taken into custody with the help of a police helicopter.

Stiggers faces charges of second-degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and battery (family violence), jail records show. No details about the incident that prompted the charges were released.

As of Wednesday afternoon, he remained in jail on a $27,000 bond.

Stiggers was one of 15 wanted suspects caught Monday in Clayton County during a joint operation by the sheriff’s office, Clayton County police, Morrow police and Riverdale police, the release said.
