A Florida man has been arrested after police say he hit his mother with corn on the cob.

WFLA reported that Pasco Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an incident Sunday morning in Zephyrhills, Florida.

According to police, 27-year-old Cody Cummins threw a corn cob at his mother. The corn cob hit her on top of her head, according to the arrest report, WFLA reported.

Police said the victim was hurt, but did not have physical injuries.

Cummings was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. He was booked into the Pasco County Jail and released on $150 bond after 9 p.m. Sunday, according to jail records.
