The FBI is looking for a man wanted in four metro Atlanta armed robberies, including two banks in one day.
The suspect had a busy August, hitting the following businesses:
- Wells Fargo at 1120 Fairburn Road in Atlanta on Aug. 12 at 12:38 p.m.
- Best Bank at 4875 Floyd Road in Mableton on Aug. 12 at 4:21 p.m.
- Publix grocery store at 2035 Mt. Zion Road in Morrow on Aug. 20 at 7:03 p.m.
- Kroger grocery store at 3959 Lavista Road in Tucker on Aug. 27 at 7:07 p.m.
In each incident, the man demanded and received money from a teller or a cashier and left the scene, the FBI said in a news release. A handgun was displayed in three of the robberies. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, 6 feet tall and approximately 180 pounds, with curly hair, the FBI said. Authorities released surveillance photos of the suspect.
