Federal and local investigators are looking into a bomb threat made Monday morning against the Bank of America Plaza on Peachtree Street.

Andrew Neely, spokesman for the Plaza’s landlord, told Channel 2 Action News the building remained open and responding to the situation was up to each individual tenant.

FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett said the threat, sent in a letter, wasn’t specific.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the FBI and Atlanta PD met with building management and Bank of America security to discuss an appropriate and measured security posture while the matter is further investigated,” Emmett said.

No other details were released.
