Doraville police are seeking the driver of a vehicle that struck and critically injured a pedestrian before leaving the scene Wednesday morning.

Police received a call at 6:41 a.m. about the incident at Buford Highway and McElroy Road, police spokesman Gene Callaway said. A man was hit by a vehicle between a Wells Fargo and a McDonald’s in Doraville Plaza.

The victim had several lacerations and possible internal bleeding, Callaway said. Medical technicians took the victim to a local hospital.

No vehicle or driver descriptions were available.
