A retired Fulton County sheriff’s deputy is under investigation after a video posted to social media shows him arguing with a person and making political comments.

The video was posted to a Facebook page Monday and the user removed it from his page Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office released an official statement:

"The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office became aware of a video posted online depicting part of an interaction between two men concerning the recent presidential election. FCSO Internal Affairs investigators have identified the man seen wearing a uniform in the video as retired Deputy Paul Jackson. The review of this case continues although the videographer would like to drop the matter. Discipline will be rendered as appropriate which has not been determined yet."
