A southwest Atlanta day-care van driver who was charged with child cruelty has been released on bond from Fulton County Jail.

Shavonda Dailey, who was granted a $15,000 bond Tuesday, was released Wednesday, according to online jail records.

Police say Dailey left a 2-year-old boy locked inside a van for about two hours Monday. The toddler was discovered outside the New Beginnings Learning Center on Sylvan Road that evening, about two hours after the boy’s mother had reported him missing, police said.

The boy was all right. Dailey was arrested and charged with reckless conduct and cruelty to children.
