A Dacula councilman has been arrested on allegations he used his city-issued credit card for personal use.

Gregory Alan Reeves, 43, was charged Friday afternoon with theft by taking, according to Gwinnett County jail records. His bond was posted at $11,200.

In an interview with Channel 2 Action News, Gwinnett District Attorney Danny Porter alleged that Reeves spent at least $3,600 on a variety of personal items, including renting a car he used for his job as a pizza delivery man.

Reeves has served on the Dacula City Council since 2006.
