LaGrange police are searching for two teenagers after a car was shot several times at a red light earlier this month.

Dylik Smith, 17, and Kevin Martin, 19, both of LaGrange, are wanted on two counts of aggravated assault and a firearm possession charge, police said in a news release.

They are accused of being among a group of five to seven young men who fired at the car about 10 p.m. May 13, the release said. The victims’ vehicle was sitting at the intersection of Handley and Whitesville streets.

No one inside the vehicle was injured, and police did not say how many times the car was struck by gunfire.

Anyone with information about Smith or Martin is asked to contact LaGrange police at 706-882-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
