Two men are accused of abducting a Coweta County man and holding him against his will for several days, police confirmed.

Calvin Roberts, 40, and Bernard Marquise Arnold Jr., 36, allegedly drove down Johnson Avenue near Pearl Street, spotted the victim walking and jumped him Sunday, police said.

They allegedly then beat him with a handgun, placed him in their car and returned to a home on Marianne Street where the victim was forced to stay until being released Tuesday morning, police said. They said the alleged victim was not assaulted during his time inside the home.

Roberts and Arnold face charges including aggravated assault with a firearm, kidnapping, probation violation and false imprisonment, Coweta County Jail records show. Roberts also faces charges of cocaine trafficking, methamphetamine trafficking, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and two counts of possession of narcotics.

Both men remain in the Coweta County Jail and were denied bond, jail records showed.
