A masked man stabbed a Hall County drugstore clerk in the head with a knife during a robbery, police said.
The incident happened about 1 a.m. Thursday at the CVS in the 100 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway, Gainesville police said in a Facebook post.
The knife lodged in the clerk’s head, and he was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in serious condition.
The suspect, Brandon Shane Dudley, 33, of Gainesville, was arrested and taken to the Hall County Jail, police said.
Dudley was charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
