A wanted man and accused gang member in Georgia and Tennessee was arrested by authorities Monday in Gilmer County.
Travis Lee Zimmerman, 30, was wanted in multiple jurisdictions on methamphetamine trafficking, gang and obstruction charges, the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Zimmerman is a known member of the Ghost Face Gangsters.
Deputies and U.S. Marshals executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Bernhardt Road about 7:30 a.m. Monday, which led to the arrest of Zimmerman and two others, the post said. Zimmerman had been wanted in the county after an investigation three months ago allegedly tied him to gang activity and drug trafficking in the area.
The other two people who were arrested, Linda Henson and Claude Morgan, both face charges of trafficking meth and obstruction in Gilmer County, the post said.

Zimmerman has completed three stints in prison since 2010, totaling about four years behind bars, according to GDC records. His convictions include robbery, escape, obstruction and drug-related charges in Cobb County. He was most recently released from state prison in 2016.
According to the Anti-Defamation League, the Ghost Face Gangsters is one of the nearly 100 white supremacist prison gangs operating in the U.S. The group originated in California in the 1970s, but a founding member started the Georgia group in 1998, according to the ADL.
