A man is accused of tying up a woman using duct tape, sticking a sock in her mouth and threatening to cut off her toes if she made a sound, authorities said.

Jeremy Miguel Anderson was named as the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office’s most wanted suspect after the Sunday incident, according to a news release. The investigation was launched by Clayton County police, the department told AJC.com.

The victim was visiting him at his house in the 1400 block of Iron Gate Boulevard when an argument prompted the attack, police said.

After tying her up, Anderson hit the woman several times and left bruises on her neck, the sheriff’s office said. He also allegedly cut her with a knife on her shoulder, causing her to bleed. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a hospital, police said.

Officers obtained warrants for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, terroristic threats and false imprisonment against Anderson.

He is about 5-foot-9 and weighs 140 pounds, the sheriff’s office said. He’s considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who sees him is urged to call 911.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 770-477-4479.
